1) Program Description
By opting in, you agree to receive SMS and/or MMS messages from Central College related to:
- Admissions updates, application reminders, and deadlines
- Class schedules, event alerts, and campus notifications
- Student account notices and important service announcements
- Occasional promotional messages about programs and services
Message frequency varies by user and program activity.
2) How to Opt In
You may opt in by any of the following methods (as applicable):
- Submitting a web form or application that includes your mobile number and an SMS consent checkbox
- Texting a keyword (e.g., JOIN) to a number we provide
- Providing written or verbal consent to a Central College representative (e.g., at events or over the phone)
By opting in, you confirm you are the subscriber or customary user of the mobile number provided and have authority to consent to receive messages.
3) How to Opt Out
You can cancel SMS at any time by texting STOP to our sending number. You may also reply END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT.
After you send STOP, we may send one final message to confirm your opt-out. No further messages will be sent unless you opt in again.

6) Carrier & Delivery Disclaimers
Message delivery is subject to your mobile carrier network and device capabilities. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We are not responsible for delays or failures in delivery caused by carrier outages, network issues, or device incompatibilities.
7) Eligibility
Our messaging program is intended for individuals age 16+ (or the age of consent in your jurisdiction) who have provided a valid Canadian or U.S. mobile number. If you are under the applicable age, obtain permission from a parent or guardian before opting in.
8) Privacy & Data Use
We respect your privacy. We collect and process information related to the messaging program such as your mobile number, opt-in status, message content, delivery data, and interaction logs. We use this information to manage subscriptions, deliver messages, respond to inquiries, troubleshoot, and maintain compliance.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We may share data with service providers (e.g., messaging platforms such as Twilio) solely to deliver and support the messaging program.
- We retain messaging data for as long as necessary for operational, legal, or compliance purposes.

9) Supported Regions & Carriers
Our program supports most major U.S. and Canadian carriers. Service may not be available on all carriers or in all areas. MMS may not be supported by all carriers or devices.
10) User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and current contact information
- Notify us if you change, transfer, or deactivate your mobile number
- Use the program only for lawful purposes and as intended
If you recycle your number or change carriers, please opt out and re-subscribe with your new number to ensure proper consent and delivery.
11) Changes to the Program or Terms
We may modify or terminate the messaging program or these Terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above. Your continued participation after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
